This is a hybrid, full-time role based out of Burnaby, offering real ownership, visibility, and the ability to influence business development outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a growing proposal team
• Own the full proposal lifecycle—from RFP review and content planning to delivery and post-submission follow-up
• Partner closely with technical teams and senior leadership to craft compelling and compliant proposals
• Establish and maintain proposal quality standards, tools, and templates
• Drive continual process improvements to enhance proposal strategy, execution, and team efficiency
• Oversee proposal pipeline and internal go/no-go process
• Step in directly to coordinate high-priority or overflow proposals when needed
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the firm

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in proposal coordination and strategy within the AEC industry
• At least 2 years of direct people management experience (mentoring alone does not qualify)
• Proven track record of producing high-quality, successful proposals in a consulting or professional services environment
• Strong grasp of RFP/RFQ requirements, compliance, and strategy
• Excellent writing, editing, layout, and content development skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign in particular) and Microsoft Office
• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
