Matchbox is looking for a reliable and skilled Live-In Property Manager/Resident Manager to join an exciting new 200+ unit property in Langley City. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in creating a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for residents. If you have a passion for property maintenance and want to be part of a dynamic team, this position is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical work
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests from residents
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems
• Assist with basic landscaping duties, including lawn care and snow removal
• Serve as a point of contact for residents regarding maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to handle emergency situations outside regular hours
• A valid driver’s license may be required
