MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Residential Project Manager on behalf of a long-standing, reputable construction firm located in Burnaby with over 30 years of experience delivering high-end custom homes and complex renovations across the Lower Mainland. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of high-end custom home builds and major residential renovations—from pre-construction through to final occupancy.
• Lead project teams, direct Project Coordinators, and coordinate with clients, designers, engineers, architects, trades, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and subcontract agreements.
• Manage estimating, tendering, bid leveling, and subcontractor selection.
• Use construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend) to set up projects, track progress, manage budgets, and maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, contracts (e.g., CCDC-2, CCDC-5b), and warranty programs (BC Housing, National Home Warranty, Renomark).
• Conduct site visits, safety checks, and performance reviews as needed.
• Participate in post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve processes.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders while representing the company’s values and brand.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience managing residential construction projects, preferably custom homes or major renovations.
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• PMP certification considered a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of contract structures including CCDC-2 and CCDC-5b.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and drawing takeoff tools (preferably Bluebeam).
• Familiarity with Buildertrend or Procore preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and collaborative, with a positive and professional attitudes
