MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Revit Specialist – Mechanical Building Systems on behalf of one of our clients, an established mechanical engineering consulting firm in Vancouver, BC.

Our client specializes in the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. With a strong pipeline of projects and a collaborative team environment, the firm offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to develop their technical expertise and advance their careers.

The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on Revit experience, which is a mandatory requirement for this position. Our client is open to candidates at various experience levels, with a strong emphasis on practical Revit modelling and technical drafting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using Revit.

• Prepare and update HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical building system drawings.

• Produce accurate technical drawings and models in accordance with project specifications and company BIM standards.

• Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and coordination with other disciplines.

• Interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings to support design development.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary design teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.

• Identify and resolve modelling discrepancies and coordination issues throughout project delivery.

• Support mechanical design documentation, technical coordination, and other project-related activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong, hands-on Revit proficiency is mandatory, with experience in technical drafting and 3D modelling.

• Experience with Revit MEP and mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection.

• Knowledge of engineering drawings, construction documentation, and mechanical design principles.

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Familiarity with BIM processes and multidisciplinary coordination, ideally within commercial, institutional, or industrial projects.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive annual salary of $65,000–$95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
