  • Design, deploy, and integrate document extraction and processing solutions (e.g., Document Intelligence, OCR) that transform structured and unstructured PDFs into key-value JSON or similar formats.
  • Assess the current Azure and AI environment, identify technical and security gaps, and recommend a practical target design and implementation sequence.
  • Implement Entra ID authentication and single sign-on for AI-enabled applications, with secure authorization to downstream APIs and data sources.
  • Configure Foundry resources, including hub-based projects where applicable, model and agent services, connections, deployments, networking, identity, monitoring, and governance controls.

  • Produce architecture diagrams, configuration records, deployment instructions, runbooks, support procedures, decision logs, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Coach internal application, infrastructure, security, and support teams, and lead a proper knowledge transfer and handoff to the operations team.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure, with responsibility for production architecture, security, integration, deployment, and operations
  • Recent delivery of at least one production or production-ready Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry) solution
  • Experience implementing enterprise SSO and application-to-application authorization using Entra ID and Microsoft identity platform standards
  • Experience handling confidential, personal, or regulated information in Azure, applying privacy, security, audit, and data-governance controls
  • Ability to work independently, explain technical options and risks clearly, collaborate with internal and vendor teams, and deliver complete operational documentation

  • AI security and responsible AI: Data classification, privacy and residency, prompt-injection controls, content safety and guardrails, grounding, output validation, human oversight, logging, retention, threat modelling, abuse monitoring, and responsible AI reviews
  • Secure integration: Integrating AI services with Microsoft and third-party applications via REST APIs, SDKs, API Management, messaging services, data connectors, and hybrid connectivity while protecting credentials and sensitive data
  • Automation and deployment: Infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), including multi-environment deployments, testing, approvals, rollback, and release controls
  • Production operations: Troubleshooting applications, identities, integrations, agents, indexes, endpoints, latency, capacity, model quality, token consumption, service limits, security events, and cost
