Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction estimating, particularly in civil or structural projects. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing drawings and specifications, and supporting project teams with budgeting and cost planning throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work.

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and constraints.

• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Assist in value engineering and risk assessment to enhance project profitability.

• Maintain and update a cost database to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

• Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input on construction methods and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within civil, structural, or commercial sectors.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.

• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage Estimating, or similar tools).

• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
