Matchbox Consulting is on the hunt for a Senior Maintenance Engineer located or willing to relocate to the Revelstoke area. Our client is a leading energy provider in British Columbia, dedicated to delivering reliable and sustainable power to communities and businesses across the province. With a strong focus on innovation and infrastructure development, they play a crucial role in supporting economic growth while ensuring environmental responsibility. Through strategic planning and investment, they continue to modernize and expand their operations to meet the evolving energy needs of the region.

Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical engineering field support and leadership to maintenance crews and management.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Review maintenance results, support improvements, and enhance preventative maintenance programs.
• Conduct equipment inspections, assess reliability, and develop maintenance strategies.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of complex projects and facility asset management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and eligibility for professional registration.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including work in electric utilities or industrial facilities.
• Strong technical expertise in hydroelectric generation, maintenance, and equipment reliability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and willingness to work in a remote location.
