MatchBox Consulting Group are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a client based in Downtown Vancouver. 

The successful candidate will you'll be responsible for leading the technical design of complex projects, particularly in the healthcare sector and will be instrumental in ensuring project deliverables and timelines are met, while contributing innovative ideas and best practices.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a recognized technical subject matter expert within the organization.
• Lead the technical design for complex projects, including assessing design constructability and developing design specifications.
• Participate in project planning and management meetings, providing improvement recommendations.
• Conduct peer reviews of junior engineers' work and sign off on complex engineering reports and standards.
• Ensure project work is completed on time and within budget, while maintaining technical accuracy of all project files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering and P.Eng designation.
• 8+ years of engineering consulting experience, with a focus on healthcare projects being a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Forward-thinking mindset, eager to learn and contribute innovative ideas.
