MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager on behalf of our client who has been a leader in the industry for over 40 years. Their specialization includes pre-fabrication, modular systems and installation of large-scale residential, commercial, institutional, educational, and medical design-build plumbing and mechanical projects.

This individual will be an incremental part of the team working on a local renowned project. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams by setting an example and taking full responsibility for project execution.
• Establish and communicate clear project expectations, goals, and scope of work.
• Develop and implement effective document control systems and site-specific plans for Procore and health and safety.
• Act as the primary liaison with stakeholders, fostering strong client relationships and providing necessary guidance.
• Manage project schedules, financial aspects, subcontractors, and manpower efficiently to ensure project success.
• Coordinate design, review shop drawings, mitigate risks, and oversee project documentation and changes effectively.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, with formal training in plumbing and project management considered advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example and strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization abilities, coupled with a detail-oriented and highly organized approach.
• Proactive and reliable, committed to continuous learning and skill development.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoDesk, Trimble, and Procore is a plus.
