MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Technologist to join our client in Calgary, AB.  

Our client is a mechanical engineering company with 10 years of experience providing consulting services to the construction sector in western Canada. They specialize in the design and engineering of mechanical building systems for diverse projects, including hospitals, recreation centers, schools and more. Since their establishment, they have successfully engineered more than 400 diverse projects, serving both private and public sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Authenticate engineered drawings.
• Manage smaller projects and teams under supervision.
• Assist Senior colleagues in managing larger, complex projects.
• Perform complex technical work with limited supervision and assist in design decisions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with all staff levels and liaise with clients and owners to ensure project needs are met.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience; (P.Eng not required, but valued)
• Expertise in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Office-based position; willingness to work in-office is essential.
