Senior Project Manager

MatchBox Consulting is on the hunt for a Senior Project Manager to work out of Kamloops, BC. This role requires someone with strong IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) experience. The ideal candidate will have delivered $60M+ institutional or commercial projects, preferably including work in healthcare, education, or civic facilities.
 

Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of project delivery from validation through closeout
• Manage project startup activities including contracts, execution plans, and resource allocation
• Oversee financials: budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost tracking
• Drive schedule development and monitoring; chair meetings and track action items
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, site instructions, change orders, and documentation
• Ensure safety, quality control, and risk management across the project
• Support and mentor project teams; foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead project closeout: turnover, training, inspections, and warranty management

Requirements:

• 5–10 years’ experience as a Project Manager on commercial, institutional, or industrial projects
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $60M+
• Strong IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) experience (required)
• Experience across full project lifecycle: preconstruction to closeout
• Knowledge of Lean principles and Last Planner® System (preferred)
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management platforme
• Degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a construction-related discipline
