MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for a permanent role at a client of ours, this position would be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end full-stack solutions that meet scalability, maintainability, and performance requirements.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
• Monitor and optimize service reliability, performance, and availability to meet defined SLA requirements.
• Design component-level architecture while ensuring alignment with broader system architecture, technical standards, and engineering goals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (React/Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C#, .NET Core)
• Strong experience in scalable API design, microservices, and server-side architecture
• Proven ability to deploy and manage infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
• A passion for writing clean, testable code and delivering maintainable systems
• Familiarity with service observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally and mentor others

Nice to have:

• Leverage AI-driven development tools to improve efficiency, accelerate delivery, and maintain high-quality outcomes.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to solve complex business and technical challenges.
• Proactively evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to address business needs and improve solutions.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical strategy and solution direction.
