MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a permanent role with a client of ours located in Vancouver
Requirements:

• Experienced Software Developer with over 7 years in designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications.
• Extensive hands-on work with Java (version 17 and above), with a focus on building robust backend systems.
• Strong background in both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) database environments.
• Practical experience implementing microservices and distributed architectures in production environments.
• Solid understanding of API design and integration, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Proficient in automated testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Working knowledge of AWS and other modern cloud-based technologies.
• Familiar with containerization using Docker and orchestration through Kubernetes.
