MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for a permanent role with a client of ours located in Vancouver

Responsibilities: 

• Partner with Sales team members as the product subject matter expert in the sales cycle.
• Engage with bank partners through requirements discovery and strategic consulting sessions.
• Develop, lead, and deliver technical workshops and customized product demonstrations.
• Participate in online and in-person webinars, events, and presentations
• Align with Product on future roadmaps and provide feedback on released features and industry trends
• Mentoring and coaching the Sales team on technical aspects of the products
• Engage with partners and prospects to deliver customized product demonstrations tailored to their unique needs.
• Leverage market and technical expertise to provide strategic consultation during the sales cycle. This includes designing optimal technology and go-to-market solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and service operations teams to develop optimal go-to-market strategies for products.
• Lead internal strategic initiatives aimed at automating and improving processes to drive efficiency and revenue growth.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, professional services, product management, or a similar role, preferably in financial services or financial technology.
• Strong ability to design/architect solutions that maximizes benefit to the client while maintaining best practices and adhering to technical framework.
• Experienced in creating technical documentation, including process workflows and requirements documents.
• Strong presence and effective at communicating complex ideas in a simple way as well as advocating to executive level stakeholders
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications, transforming complex details into accessible, user-friendly content.
• Comprehensive knowledge of connectivity standards such as authentication, encryption, secure transmission, and APIs.
• Familiarity with data standards such as XML and JSON.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Proven relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Highly motivated, self-directed individual who can manage multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in financial services or financial technology is highly desirable.
