MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Senior Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer in Calgary, AB. Our client is a distinguished engineering consulting firm recognized for its comprehensive services in water resource, environmental, and infrastructure projects across Canada. Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of our expanding Alberta stormwater team, contributing significantly to its growth and success.
• Drive client relationships and pursue competitive opportunities, leading diverse and innovative project teams effectively.
• Manage project delivery across a spectrum of stormwater and water resources planning and design projects, encompassing stormwater models, low impact development design, flood assessment, and management plans.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives, tailoring project delivery to suit their specific situations.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to intermediate and junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering or a related engineering program is required.
• Registration as a professional engineer with APEGA
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong experience in project and client management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in leading a wide range of stormwater and water resources planning and design projects.
• Possess excellent leadership skills.
• Previous experience in client networking and business development is considered advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various team levels in a multi-disciplinary environment.
