On behalf of our client, MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead institutional, commercial, and institutional (ICI) projects. Our client is a reputable design-build firm with projects across Ontario. The superintendent will oversee multiple sites in Kingston, Trenton, and Cornwall.

Role Summary
The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling construction activities on large-scale industrial and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Confident, polished communicator who can navigate senior-level client conversations with ease. 
• 10+ years experience in commercial construction for a large general contractor 
• 5+  years experience as a superintendent for a large general contractor 
• Proven track record on government and institutional projects 
• Exceptional proficiency in MS Project for scheduling and sequencing and a strong understanding of contracts
• Strong understanding of complex scopes and multi?phase build sequencing 
• Journeyman trade certification or equivalent experience 
• Technical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification are considered assets 
• Journeyman trade certification or equivalent
