MatchBox Consulting Group is urgently searching for a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer for a 12- month contract role (37.5 hours per week) for our BC based public sector client. This position requires a lower mainland-based candidate who can work mostly remote but come into the Vancouver office a few times per month as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4 years of relevant UX/UI design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma.
- Experience designing for mobile, desktop, and app environments.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- Understanding of human-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.
SERVICES
- Translate requirements, user insights, and brand guidelines into clear, functional design solutions.
- Produce high-quality UX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, UI designs, and component specifications.
- Customize and extend CMS components to support new features while maintaining consistency with the design system.
- Partner closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct end-to-end user research, from planning through analysis, and incorporate findings into design work.
SKILLS
- Knowledge of enterprise CMS platforms (AEM preferred).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
