MatchBox Consulting Group is partnering with a well-established property owner and developer in Downtown Vancouver to find a skilled Journeyman Plumber for a full-time, in-house maintenance role supporting a dynamic mix of commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities:
•    Perform scheduled and as-needed plumbing maintenance in both commercial and residential properties
•    Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, valves, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures
•    Respond to urgent plumbing issues and provide prompt solutions
•    Follow building codes and safety standards during all tasks
•    Partner with maintenance staff on larger repair or renovation projects
•    Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and maintenance activities
•    Provide respectful, professional communication with property tenants and stakeholders
•    Conduct proactive property inspections to identify and resolve plumbing issues early

Qualifications:
•    Valid Journeyman Plumber certification (Red Seal preferred)
•    Proven track record in plumbing service, maintenance, and emergency repair
•    Comfortable working independently with strong time management
•    Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to think on your feet
•    Positive, respectful communicator with a customer-first approach
•    Physically capable of performing tasks that may include lifting or climbing
•    Clean Class 5 driver’s license for van use
•    Familiarity with BC building codes and workplace safety protocols
•    Openness to occasional emergency call-outs
