MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Site Foreman in Kamloops, BC! Our client is a fast-growing design-build contractor based in BC, specializing in industrial, commercial, and multi-family projects.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain workflow efficiency.

• Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections to uphold compliance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges while maintaining communication with the Site Superintendent.

• Ensure proper material handling, inventory tracking, and waste management.

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.

• Monitor workmanship and address deficiencies promptly.

• Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports and safety documentation.
   

We are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in wood-frame construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong understanding of BC Building Code, safety regulations, and construction best practices.

• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with trades, consultants, and management.

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver’s license and current First Aid & WHMIS certification preferred.
