MatchBox Consulting Group is working with a respected general contractor renowned for delivering iconic high-rise projects, and we're seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across complex construction sites in Vancouver.

As the Site Safety Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety compliance, leading a team of safety officers, and collaborating with project teams to implement tailored safety strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of high-profile, large-scale projects while promoting a culture of safety on site.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and oversee safety operations across multiple high-rise construction sites
• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety programs in line with regulations and company policies
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits, taking corrective action when needed
• Work closely with project teams to create site-specific safety strategies
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, providing detailed reports and solutions
• Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance across all sites
• Lead and mentor a team of safety officers, fostering a culture of safety through ongoing training

What You Need:

• 5+ years of health and safety experience in high-rise or large-scale construction
• Certifications such as CRSP, NCSO, or COR Auditor are considered assets
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a safety-first approach
• In-depth knowledge of construction site safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
