Job Title: Site Superintendent – Multi-Family Wood-Frame Residential

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Site Superintendent to lead the construction of a multi-family, wood-frame residential project in Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to timelines, safety standards, and coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations for a multi-family wood-frame construction project

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety regulations

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff to maintain workflow and efficiency

Lead daily site meetings and communicate regularly with the project manager and head office
-
Monitor project milestones and proactively identify and address potential delays or issues
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized construction site at all times
-
Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company health & safety policies
-
Conduct quality control inspections and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly
-
Review and maintain project documentation including site reports, safety logs, and schedules

Liaise with city inspectors, consultants, and suppliers as needed
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or Site Foreman in wood-frame residential construction
-
Proven experience managing low- to mid-rise multi-family developments from start to finish
-
Strong knowledge of BC Building Code, wood-frame construction practices, and local permitting processes

Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural, architectural, and mechanical drawings

Proficient with project scheduling tools and basic computer skills (email, reporting apps)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Level 1 or 2 First Aid certification (an asset)

CSTS and other safety training certificates (preferred)
