MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Site Superintendent for a series of upcoming projects in the Lower Mainland. Our client is highly respected and one of the leaders within the commercial and residential construction industry. Our client is looking for a Senior Superintendent who is up for the challenge and who is passionate about what they do.

Responsibilities: –

• Manage the construction schedule and budget of projects
• Reviews plan designs and specifications as required
• Coordinates all administrative aspects of the production department including managing trade partner’s workload, plan revisions, occupancy date changes, site changes
• Conducts periodic on-site inspections to ensure construction activities are meeting standards and schedule
• Attends head office and on-site meetings as required and keeps staff informed of changes
• Oversees and approves all invoices, processes, budgets and investigates and discrepancies

Requirements: –

• 5-10+ years experience working on wood-frame builds and complex projects
• Ideally experience working on large scale projects
• Strong communication skills
• Able to cope under extreme pressure
• Post Secondary Education either University Degree (i.e. Engineering degree) or College Diploma (Construction Management Program)
• Able to problem solve and someone who is looking for a unique challenge
