MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking several Software Engineers for permanent roles with a client of ours located in Vancouver.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop synchronization and transformation systems that drive our unified financial data model, enabling analytics, reporting, and traceability across sources.
  • Build the interface and backend logic that allow users to define structured financial projections, compose traceable reports, and drill down to transaction-level details.
  • Expand our automation engine that powers full-cycle accounting.
  • Implement monitoring to detect and resolve data anomalies before they cause downstream issues.
  • Help evolve our transactional data model that connects and automates a company’s financial activities for greater accuracy and insight.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering (preferably with a product-focused SaaS company)
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL
  • Strong understanding of API design, and distributed systems
  • Experience building and scaling complex web applications or data systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
