About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction activities on a range of commercial, institutional, and multi-residential projects in Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all on-site construction activities from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards

• Coordinate daily with subcontractors, trades, and site personnel to maintain workflow and resolve issues

• Lead and document daily site meetings, safety talks, and progress updates

• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations (including WorkSafeBC), and company policies

• Work closely with project managers, consultants, and municipal inspectors to keep the project on track

• Monitor site logistics, including deliveries, materials, and equipment management

• Identify and resolve site challenges proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns

• Maintain site documentation including daily reports, safety logs, deficiency lists, and inspections

• Enforce a clean, safe, and organized job site

• Contribute to a collaborative and positive site culture

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial, institutional, or multi-family construction

• Solid knowledge of local building codes, construction methods, and safety practices

• Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractor performance effectively

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience using construction management software and digital reporting tools

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications across multiple disciplines

• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license

• CSTS, First Aid, and other safety certifications are assets
