The client is a Surrey-based Commercial General Contracting Company serving clients in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. With over 13 years of establishment, we've experienced continuous growth by prioritizing clear communication, honesty, creativity, respect, and exceptional customer service.

Project Scope:

• Small to medium projects ranging from $100,000 to $10,000,000
• Commercial, Light industrial, Institutional projects
• Tenant improvements, Structural upgrades, Remediations, Renovations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely manage site production, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
• Coordinate on-site construction plans, including scheduling, staffing, sub-trades, activities, and logistics.
• Mentor and supervise site personnel, fostering a positive work environment.
• Uphold and promote company values.
• Cultivate strong relationships with staff, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience managing commercial projects.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in construction, specifically as a Site Superintendent, with knowledge of BC Building Codes.
• Proficiency in managing full cycle projects within similar construction sectors.
• Demonstrated success as a supervisor and leader.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

• Strong decision-making skills and organizational abilities.
• Hands-on supervisor with Carpentry background.
• Thorough understanding of construction techniques, codes, and procedures in BC.
• Proficiency in interpreting scopes of work, contract documents, drawings, schedules, and specifications.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Competence in safety, personnel management, and project execution.
• Commitment to ethics, integrity, and teamwork.
• Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
• Adaptability and versatility in handling diverse tasks.
• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and Outlook preferred.
• Must possess a reliable pickup truck for transportation and a valid BC driver's license.
