Matchbox Consulting is on the hunt for a Supply Chain Professional located in Surrey, BC working in a hybrid work model (minimum two days in office and may increase based on business requirements).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sourcing and procurement support for the Materials Management Business Unit.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage RFx processes, and negotiate contracts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Support procurement process improvements and ensure risk management in sourcing decisions.
  • Report procurement status updates and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in an engineering or business-related subject (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).
  • 5 years of procurement and sourcing experience in progressively senior roles(or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Provincial Government Sourcing Experience
  • Prior experience purchasing inventory (in SAP preferred)
  • Knowledge of contract law
