MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a System Automation & IT Specialist for a permanent position with a client of ours located in Mission, BC. This is an in-office role  5 days per week where a vehicle is required.

We’re seeking a System Automation & IT Specialist to join our team. This role blends the opportunity to modernize and automate how technology is delivered across the business with hands-on IT support.

This full-time onsite role is perfect for someone who enjoys building long-term solutions that eliminate inefficiencies as well as solving everyday IT challenges. You’ll make a direct impact by reducing manual work, improving processes, and helping shape a modern, automated IT environment.

Key Tasks:
 

• Partner with business teams to identify and solve process challenges.
• Automate workflows with Power Automate and develop apps with Power Apps.
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to streamline system tasks.
• Optimize existing and develop new MS Excel spreadsheets to meet the team’s goals
• Support endpoint management, monitoring, and security compliance.
• Assist with user support for Windows and Microsoft 365 environment.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Practical experience with automation tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, scripting).
• Minimum of 2–4 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance tickets and project work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:
 

• Microsoft certifications (M365 Administrator, Power Platform Fundamentals).
• Experience with Intune, Azure services, or Microsoft Graph API.
• Familiarity with IT security and compliance practices.
• Experience with implementing and supporting ERP Software
