The Opportunity
MatchBox is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist on behalf of our client, an iconic Canadian company known for bold growth, smart leadership, and a values-driven culture. This is a 6-month, full-time contract with the potential for extension — and it’s fully on-site in Etobicoke.

You’ll be the go-to recruiter for all things Ontario: leading full-cycle hiring, working directly with senior leadership, and helping build a team that’s shaping the skyline.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for roles across construction, development, and corporate functions

• Act as the sole Talent rep in Ontario, with strong support from the national HR team

• Source, screen, and guide hiring decisions with insight and independence

• Build talent pipelines and elevate the employer brand in the Ontario market

• Influence hiring strategy and recruitment best practices

What You Bring

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience

• Ontario-based with deep knowledge of the local talent landscape

• Strong sourcing skills – LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, direct outreach, networking

• Comfortable working solo while collaborating remotely with national teams

• Experience in real estate, development, or construction is a big plus
