MatchBox Consulting is seeking a Transmission Engineer to join our growing team following a long-term transmission project award. This role is open to both EITs and P.Eng. candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be hands-on, contributing to design, package preparation, and transmission line pole replacements.
 

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in PLS-CADD (essential)

• BC Hydro project experience (asset)

• Experience with transmission line design and hands-on project work

• Knowledge of PLS-Tower (bonus, not required)

• EIT or P.Eng. credentials

Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare construction packages for transmission line projects

• Conduct pole replacement and other transmission line activities

• Collaborate with engineering, field, and project teams to ensure project delivery

• Review, analyze, and apply engineering standards and specifications
