This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the flow of goods, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, and maintaining inventory integrity. Forklift Certification is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse activities related to shipping and receiving, ensuring smooth and timely processing of orders
- Coordinate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to facilitate efficient movement of materials and resolve any logistical issues
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks, safely and in compliance with all safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including logging incoming and outgoing shipments and monitoring stock levels
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment that meets Occupational Health & Safety standards
- Support shipping and receiving teams as needed, contributing to an organized and productive workplace
Candidate Profile
- At least six months’ experience in logistics, warehouse operations, retail, or a customer service role within a similar environment
- Forklift certification is mandatory, along with a strong track record of safe equipment operation
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Physically capable of performing demanding warehouse tasks, including lifting objects up to 100 lbs regularly
- Proficient in basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Excel, to assist with inventory tracking and reporting
