MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Release Manager for a 6 month contract role at a client of ours located in Vancouver

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of previous release management experience
• 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
• Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
• Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
• Knowledge of ITSM tools Service Now a plus
• Create recommendations for process improvements or efficiency enhancements to company processes internal processes
• Perform and documents SOX walkthroughs and testing in accordance with the Company’s frameworks
• Assist with the maintenance of consistency and quality in SOX compliance work across the team
• Stay apprised of all new SOX compliance guidelines and interpretations
