MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for an Office Manager within the Edmonton area!

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for office automation, IT hardware/software issues, and telecommunications, collaborating with vendors to swiftly resolve technical challenges.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and staff to uphold the company's reputation for excellence, ensuring commitments are met with professionalism and quality service.
  • Strategically prioritize tasks and projects, meticulously monitoring deadlines to prevent any substantial delays or complaints, optimizing workflow efficiency.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures aligned with organizational objectives, fostering a cohesive and goal-oriented work environment.
  • Actively engage in meetings to stay informed of business needs, providing valuable insights and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Review, refine, and introduce new office policies, procedures, and automated systems to enhance efficiency, making recommendations for acquiring advanced administrative and financial tools to meet evolving company requirements and standards.

Requirements:

  • Possess a post-secondary diploma or degree in Administrative, Business Management, or Financial Services.
  • Bring a minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory administrative role, ideally within an independent business setting, showcasing progressive expertise in administrative and financial support services.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in accounting procedures, business math, and administrative office protocols, coupled with experience using desktop publishing software.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of Office 365, Quickbooks Desktop, and InDesign, with a proven ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Embody key character strengths such as excellent multitasking, coordination, and organizational abilities, alongside a service-oriented mindset, championing L7 culture and prioritizing confidentiality.
  • Showcase exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, paired with excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-management abilities, while maintaining adaptability, resiliency, and commitment to personal development in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
