MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager for our client, a leading commercial GC in Greater Vancouver, specializing in unique restaurant projects. 

The Project Manager will be an independent and entrepreneurial individual with a passion for for commercial projects. They will be responsible for working collaboratively to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while coordinating various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution, including scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or deviations promptly.
• Manage project documentation and communication, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes, to ensure clarity and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations, while also fostering positive relationships and resolving conflicts effectively.

Requirements: 

• Proven track record in project management with a focus on commercial construction, demonstrating successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
• Previous experience managing restaurant projects, whether it be tenant improvements (TI) or new builds, is an asset 
• Possess a creative, fast-moving, and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic and innovative environment.
