MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Service Electrician for our client – an industry-leading electrical contractor located in Vancouver.

The Service Electrician will be responsible for delivering exceptional residential electrical services, from initial customer interaction through to job completion. This role requires a strong technical background, experience in residential electrical work, and a passion for customer service. The successful candidate will work independently, engaging with customers, providing accurate quotes, and ensuring all projects meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and attend meetings with customers to assess their electrical needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Present and explain electrical solutions to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
• Provide detailed and accurate quotes for services based on customer needs.
• Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate electrical systems and requirements.
• Coordinate with the scheduling team to plan and organize the execution of approved projects.
• Carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance according to industry standards and company policies.
• Provide necessary documentation, such as job completion reports and invoices, upon finishing each project.

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of service electrician experience
• Be a Licensed Electrician or Journeyman with a strong understanding of electrical systems and codes.
• Proven experience in residential electrical work, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Driven, hungry, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with budgeting or quoting jobs.
• Commercial project experience.
