Performance Tester

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Performance Tester for a 6 month part-time REMOTE contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver

Responsibilities:
-Develop, execute, and analyze performance tests, including benchmark, load, stress, and endurance testing, using LoadRunner for Oracle EBS and JD Edwards.
-Leverage protocols such as Web and ERP to simulate real-world user scenarios effectively.
-Create and execute POCs and performance engineering initiatives to drive system optimization.
-Monitor application logs, system behaviour, and resource utilization, addressing technical issues proactively.
-Analyze CPU utilization, memory usage, network performance, garbage collection, and database parameters to identify bottlenecks.
-Generate performance graphs, session reports, and related documentation for validation and analysis.
-Create comprehensive performance reports and share actionable insights with cross-functional teams.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
-Communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders, making sure they are aligned on performance goals.
 
Requirements:
-Expertise in LoadRunner Enterprise (v12.55) and Cloud SaaS CE (v24.4).
-Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, and associated protocols (Web/HTML, ERP, Oracle-NCA (with Web HTTP/HTML-dual), Oracle JNLP, Vugen TruClient ).
-Strong scripting skills in Vugen, Python and Java.
-Proficiency in RDBMS databases such as MS-SQL Server and Oracle, with strong SQL knowledge.
-Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including cloud-native performance monitoring tools.
