MatchBox Consulting Group is recruiting for a Procurement Analyst (Level 1) to support procurement and material coordination activities in a hybrid environment based in Surrey.

This role focuses on supporting procurement transactions, material sourcing, and expediting activities within a structured supply chain environment. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, support procurement processes, and contribute to overall supply chain efficiency.

This position is well suited to a detail-oriented professional with procurement experience who enjoys working with data, coordinating logistics, and supporting operational teams.


Responsibilities

  • Support procurement activities including creation and administration of purchase orders and contract releases
  • Coordinate material requirements with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Prepare and issue requests for quotes and support sourcing activities
  • Track and monitor delivery timelines, ensuring materials are delivered on time
  • Provide expediting support by coordinating with suppliers to address delivery changes and delays
  • Maintain communication with internal teams regarding procurement status and issues
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify potential risks related to delivery or quality
  • Maintain procurement and expediting records within supply chain systems
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports related to materials, supplier performance, and delivery accuracy
  • Analyze data to identify trends and support process improvements
  • Support procurement processes in alignment with internal policies and guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, and logistics coordination processes
  • Experience working with supply chain systems (e.g., SAP or similar tools)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis
  • Ability to retrieve, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Basic knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines

Assets

  • Experience working in large or complex organizations
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools
  • Experience with supplier performance tracking and reporting
  • Experience supporting logistics and material expediting activities
