Our Surrey, BC based client is seeking a Digital Solutions Manager for a permanent position. This is an on-site role 5 days per week at the clients Surrey office 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Team Leadership & Execution
Provide direction and support to a Digital Solutions team, encouraging growth through coaching and hands-on technical mentorship. Oversee workload prioritization, service desk efficiency, and the successful rollout of technology-driven projects. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure systems and tools support broader company goals, while contributing to strategic planning and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.
Systems Architecture & Development
Create and maintain scalable technology solutions spanning enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, eCommerce, and data systems. Lead efforts around system integration, workflow automation, and performance improvements across both cloud-based and on-premise environments. Uphold documentation standards, security protocols, and established procedures, while actively contributing to long-term system architecture and ongoing enhancements.
Data Management & Insights
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of organizational data. Oversee reporting frameworks and analytics capabilities that enable informed decision-making. Develop and refine reporting tools, data models, and integrations for optimal performance. Deliver training on systems and reporting tools, and maintain clear documentation including process guides and change tracking.
Technical Expertise & Support
Act as a senior technical resource across multiple domains including support services, integrations, APIs, automation, and emerging technologies. Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges in mixed infrastructure environments. Take ownership during system incidents, serving as a key contact to coordinate resolution efforts. Continue expanding expertise across core business systems.
Compliance, Risk & Security
Promote strong governance practices related to system access, data protection, and regulatory compliance. Participate in change control processes, disaster recovery planning, and operational risk management. Ensure consistent application of security standards and maintain reliable system performance through effective controls.
Partner & Vendor Coordination
Develop and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Contribute to contract discussions, performance assessments, and solution delivery. Work with partners to troubleshoot issues and drive technical progress, ensuring their offerings align with organizational requirements and standards
Candidate Profile
- At least 5 years of experience working with enterprise systems, data, or digital solutions
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership or mentorship capacity within a technical team
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ERP and CRM platforms
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Power Platform, or comparable technologies
- Experience operating in environments that combine cloud and on-premise systems
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across both technical and non-technical teams
