About the Role
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Distribution Technologist for a contract opportunity with a leading engineering firm. This role requires a hands-on professional who can contribute immediately to active design projects—this is not suited for junior candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design work for distribution projects using PLS-CADD is required
• Lead and support crossing design projects, including railway, river, and highway crossings
• Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure project delivery and quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in distribution design
• Strong proficiency in PLS-CADD (hands-on design is critical)
• Experience with utility projects; familiarity with BC Hydro standards is a strong asset
• EIT designation is required
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
