MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Transmission Technologist for a long-term contract opportunity with a leading engineering client. This role requires a hands-on professional who can contribute immediately to active transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design work for transmission line projects, with a focus on pole replacement programs
• Prepare complete engineering packages, including drawings and supporting documentation
• Work within project teams to deliver design solutions from concept through execution
• Support ongoing project delivery with a strong, hands-on approach (not limited to review work)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in transmission line design
• Strong proficiency in PLS-CADD (mandatory)
• Experience working on utility projects; familiarity with BC Hydro standards is a strong asset
• Ability to work independently and contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up
• PLS-Tower experience is considered an asset

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
• EIT designation is required
