MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Site Superintendent for one of our clients, a well-established General Contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial construction projects across British Columbia.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Superintendent looking to join a growing and collaborative construction team delivering projects in the $1M–$5M range across the Lower Mainland and broader BC market.

The successful candidate will bring strong experience managing commercial TI, base building, and/or light residential projects and will have an established network of BC subcontractors and trade partners. This role requires someone highly organized, proactive, and confident managing projects from mobilization through closeout in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations from mobilization through project completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and site logistics
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and field communication through Procore and SiteDocs
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Conduct site meetings, safety coordination, and progress tracking
• Work closely with Project Managers to proactively resolve site issues and maintain schedule momentum

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of Site Superintendent experience within commercial construction
• Proven experience delivering $1M–$5M projects
• Background in commercial TI, base building, and/or light residential construction
• Strong BC subcontractor and trade-partner network
• Procore and SiteDocs proficiency required
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel within British Columbia as required

• Lower Mainland based
• Travel within BC required depending on project needs
