MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Contract Professional (Level 3) for a long-term contract opportunity supporting one of the largest utility providers in British Columbia. This role is ideal for an experienced contract management professional with strong expertise in procurement, contract strategy, supplier management, and stakeholder coordination within large infrastructure or operational environments.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located throughout British Columbia, with preference given to candidates based near Vernon, BC.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide contract strategy support during project planning and execution
• Manage and administer high-complexity contracts across active projects and operations
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled
• Identify contract risks, resolve issues, and support successful project delivery
• Forecast, monitor, and report on contract usage, expenditures, and compliance requirements
• Support procurement and sourcing activities involving supply, supply & install, and service contracts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and operations groups
• Provide guidance related to procurement practices, contract terms, liabilities, and contract administration

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of contract management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of procurement contracts including supply, supply & install, and service agreements
• Experience supporting contract strategy and active contract management
• Strong understanding of contract terms, liabilities, compliance, and risk management
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• SAP experience
• Experience supporting construction, maintenance, operations, or infrastructure-related projects
• Project management experience
• Certificate in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
