Change Manager

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Change Management Professional to support one of BC’s largest utility providers on a high-impact enterprise transformation initiative. This is an opportunity for an experienced change leader who can develop and execute change management strategies, engage stakeholders, measure adoption, and support successful implementation of complex organizational change programs.

The successful candidate will work across large-scale projects and initiatives, helping business groups navigate process, technology, and organizational changes while ensuring strong stakeholder alignment and measurable outcomes.

This is a contractual role open to candidates working remotely on PST. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead change management planning and delivery for large and/or complex project environments.
• Develop and implement change strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, communications, training programs, and adoption activities.
• Assess change impacts and measure effectiveness, adoption rates, and stakeholder readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across matrixed organizations.
• Provide guidance on change management best practices and support organizational readiness for transformation initiatives.
• Track and report on change progress, risks, and outcomes.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Extensive change management experience, including planning and delivery within large and/or complex project environments.
• CCMP designation, PROSCI certification, or equivalent change management work experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to measure change impact, adoption rates, and effectiveness.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience and a collaborative approach within matrixed organizations.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with compliance-related change management, particularly within the energy industry, NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), IT, or cybersecurity environments.
• Experience supporting compliance activities related to incidents, violations, and mitigation planning.
• Experience working with project management and process improvement initiatives.
