MatchBox is urgently seeking an IT Support Analyst for a permanent position with our Langley, BC based client.
IT Support Analyst
Langley, BC — On-site, 5 days/week
Entry-level IT role supporting day-to-day technical services, internal tools, testing, and documentation. Works under the guidance of senior IT team members while building skills in user support, troubleshooting, Python scripting, and application testing.
Note: The office is not accessible by public transportation — a personal vehicle and valid driver's license are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for Windows, Microsoft 365, and approved software; manage help desk tickets.
- Assist with setup, installation, onboarding, and access requests; escalate complex issues.
- Support development, testing, and documentation of internal tools using Python, under senior review.
- Follow test procedures and document outcomes, defects, and guides.
- Follow security and data-protection practices; report issues immediately; obtain approval before production changes.
- Participate in training, ask questions, and collaborate across teams.
Qualifications
- Basic experience with computers, troubleshooting, or technical support.
- Foundational Python or scripting knowledge.
- Ability to follow procedures and document work clearly.
- Familiarity with Windows, M365, or Git an asset.
- Post-secondary education in IT/CS or equivalent experience an asset.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle access required.
