MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Development Manager in Calgary, AB! Our client is a design-focused development company, known for creating innovative and sustainable urban spaces. They specialize in residential and mixed-use projects that integrate seamlessly into the city's landscape.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in design, architecture, construction management, or project management, with a strong interest in transitioning to full-cycle development management
• Multifamily residential construction oversight experience required.
•  An undergraduate degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Familiarity with City of Calgary permitting processes, building codes, and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manager of managers: oversee the third party general contractor on several active construction projects
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle (design, permitting, construction)
• Lead and manage consultant teams (architects, engineers, general contractors)
• Solve design/construction challenges and develop solutions
• Ensure quality control, timely delivery, and budget adherence
