Electrical Estimator – Commercial & Tenant Improvement

MatchBox is seeking an Electrical Estimator. 

The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-run electrical contractor that has a steady pipeline of commercial and light industrial work and needs an experienced estimator to help convert it.

This isn’t a chaotic shop.
Systems are in place, bids are organized, and the focus is simple: produce solid estimates and win work.

The Role (Straight Up)

You’ll be running bids from start to finish:

• Review drawings
• Build the estimate
• Level pricing
• Submit and support the close
• Hand off cleanly to PM

No chasing work. No unnecessary layers.
You own your numbers.

Projects

• Commercial tenant improvements
• Renovations & upgrades
• Distribution / building electrical systems
• Some light industrial exposure

What They’re Looking For

• ~5+ years in electrical estimating
• Commercial / TI / renovation experience
• Can read drawings without support
• Comfortable running multiple bids
• Experience with Accubid, LiveCount, or similar

Bonus (not required):

• Field background (electrician)
• Some PM or site exposure

Compensation

• $90K–$120K base (flexible for the right person)
