MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Electrical Foreman/Field Supervisor to join our client, a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in the Lower Mainland, delivering projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. With a strong reputation for quality, safety, and long-term client relationships, this team continues to expand its footprint across electrical installations, fire alarm systems, and service work.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between Project Managers and field crews, ensuring clear communication of scope, schedules, and priorities
• Lead post-award planning, including reviewing drawings, identifying conflicts, planning layouts, and forecasting labour requirements
• Manage day-to-day field operations across multiple job sites to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
• Coordinate labour, materials, and site logistics to maintain productivity and meet project milestones
• Oversee work in occupied and institutional environments, ensuring compliance with site constraints such as noise, dust control, and operational requirements
• Provide hands-on leadership, supporting installations and troubleshooting complex systems when needed
• Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices, promoting safety, quality, and continuous development
• Perform service work and system troubleshooting between projects as required

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician certification (required)
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the electrical trade
• Strong commercial project experience, including work in occupied or institutional environments
• Hands-on expertise with power distribution, lighting systems, low voltage, and backup/emergency power
• Solid understanding of drawings, specifications, and electrical codes (fire alarm experience considered an asset)
• Proficient with scheduling, documentation, and basic project management tools
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and adapt to changing site conditions
