MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Estimating Manager in Calgary, Alberta.

The perfect candidate would be a senior estimator looking to take the next step in his/her career.

Projects: High volume single-family homes 
 

You will

• Oversee daily estimating production and ensure estimates are developed in an accurate and efficient manner
• Manage output of job files, budget production and documentation systems
• Oversee daily operations of the estimating function and a team of 4 estimators 
• Tender housing products
• Review new products and vendors
• Manage external relationships and internal customers
• Process due dates: Sales release proformas, monthly closing reviews and re-reviews
• Interview and provide recommendations to the Management team
• Distribute job files for purchase to ensure completion and delivery in a timely manner

You have

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• A team spirit attitude
• Strong organizational skills and are extremely detail-oriented
• Previous estimating experience (bonus for single family housing)
