Job Description: We are seeking a Project Manager to bolster our BC operations, possessing a robust background in wood-frame, apartment-style, multi-family construction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience as a lead Project Manager within a general contracting environment, specifically overseeing similar projects featuring suspended slab parkades and 4-6 story wood frame structures. Operating within a fast-paced, lean construction model, you will be tasked with maintaining project momentum while overseeing scheduling, quality control, safety, and fostering effective relationships with staff and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion
• Develop and implement construction procedures and control templates
• Manage construction budget, schedule, and tender invitations
• Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, engineers, and architects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
• Evaluate and mitigate project risks
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors
• Obtain necessary permits and licenses
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders
• Address any environmental or community issues arising during projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred
• Extensive experience managing construction project budgets
• Proficiency in construction materials and equipment
• Strong leadership skills with previous leadership experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and construction/project management software
• Familiarity with construction management processes and regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
