MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Finance Business Analyst for a 12 month contract role at a client of ours located in Vancouver

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, with a particular focus on reporting.
• Lead stakeholder discussions and discovery sessions to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and current-state processes.
• Develop process improvements and future-state solutions in collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, process flows, user stories, and prioritized initiatives.
• Take ownership of initiatives from discovery through delivery, ensuring solutions address business needs and drive adoption.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role.
• Strong background in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement.
• Experience working with Finance, reporting, data, or other complex business functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems would be considered an asset, but is not required
