Responsibilities:

  • Designing building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and performing system design calculations and equipment selections.
  • Liaising with project stakeholders to define project scopes and requirements.
  • Coordinating mechanical system requirements with other design disciplines.
  • Preparation of contract drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD software.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress.

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience; P.Eng not required, but valued
  • Expertise in Revit (95%) and AutoCAD preferred, but lack of AutoCAD experience is manageable
  • Strong preference for candidates with mechanical engineering background
  • Office-based position; willingness to work in-office is essential
